🌈Rainbow Rush 5K for Birmingham Hospice 💖🌈

Myself and some others have decided to take part in the Rainbow Rush 5K walk to raise money for Birmingham Hospice.

One reason being that we wanted to do something meaningful and something to help others but for me personally the reason is that although i haven't had a family member cared for by Birmingham Hospice, it is something that is very close to my heart because I lost my mum. ❤️

Losing someone you love is one of the hardest things you can ever go through, and it made me realise just how important it is for people at the end of their lives to be surrounded by comfort, dignity, kindness and compassion — and for their families to have support during such an incredibly difficult time.

Hospices provide that precious care and support when people need it most. Knowing that there are places dedicated to making someone’s final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible is something I feel deserves to be supported. ❤️

So I’m putting on my trainers and taking on 5K to raise money for an important cause 🌈

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Birmingham Hospice continue to provide the care, comfort and support that families need during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
